Baby, baby...

So we still call Josiah "baby" a lot. I can't believe I'm about to reveal this but every time I say "baby" I can't help but belt out in song (or at least sing in my mind) "Baby, baby, you put my heart in motion..." What can I say I was born in '84. John wishes that the songs of the '80's would be more widely appreciated, but that is a whole other post all together. How about you, can you admit to saying (or singing) funny things your your little ones?

Oh ya. I sing "Stand up, stand up for Jesus" when I am changing the diaper and I need to pull up their pants. I sing "Mandy, Oh, Mandy" since she has a real song for her name. There are probably lots of others. I just can't think of any right now.

Just a thought, we have Baby 1, Baby 2, Baby 3 ect. at our house (dolls of course), so you could do that for the next baby and Josiah could keep his nickname for a little while longer.

I can't think of anything specific right now, but, yeah, both Kevin and I do lots of silly stuff with Abby. Oh, sometimes I break out into the song, "My baby love, my baby love...." And should I admit that I've adapted church songs meant to be sung to God and sing them about my daughter instead, or is that too sacrilegious? =)
